Rot Carnival is our big fall soil party: a time to put the beds to bed, prepare the ground for next year's planting, and maybe even let go of some things we've been holding onto for a while (leaves, etc).
This year's theme is soil critters: the bugs and worms and oddly shaped microbes that are such a big part of turning what's leftover into the next round of life.

What to Bring: Gloves, layers, wheelbarrows and shovels and rakes, your Halloween jack-o-lanterns for the pumpkin smash, untreated cardboard, a bin of (chemical-free!) yard debris if you like, old clothes and hats suitable for scarecrows. Creepy crawly costumes welcome, not required :-)
